Jury Votes
Speeches have been posted, the Jury has been asking questions, the Final 2 have been answering them (and arguing a tad bit), and now it is finally time to sit down and read the Jury Votes.

You both played excellent games. I think that Gingy, you were more well connected throughout. Betty, you had a strong base but ultimately had to fight to stay in the house. I am voting for the person who, while people targeted them, was never successfully removed from the game - and people didn’t really want to be the one to remove them. This was tough, because I love both of you, but I will be voting for Betty Rizzo to win.

While both of you played to different strengths which allowed you both to play excellent games, I know from personal experience how hard it is to thrive in this game when you're relying almost solely on your social skills to get you there.

betty, i really don’t know how this vote is going to go. i truly believe that you deserve this win and that if it weren’t for competition wins, neither of y’all would be here. while yes, you haven’t been a final nominee, there’s no telling IF you would’ve left or not had you have been. you cannot predict staying or leaving when you aren’t a final nominee. overall, i think compared to gingy, you excelled. you were (for the most part), honest with me throughout a majority of this game. if you don’t win, i’m so sorry girl gingy, if you win, congrats <3

Congratulations Betty fucking Rizzo!!! Not only did you master a competitive element, particularly letting your abilities shine at the end, but you absolutely embodied the strategic and social elements of the game. You played an immaculately well rounded game; one of the best, I truly genuinely believe. You’re so so so deserving and I hope you’re as proud of yourself as I am of you, because I know you put your whole heart into this game and played so well, and all that effort, time, and strategy showed, and you know that.

Grizabella was my preseason favorite forum newbie added to the cast. Unfortunately she realized very early on how much work it was. After not logging in after Week 1, she messaged me that she wanted to walk from the game. I then told her "no" and said she should wait and at least try. She didn't, so after Week 2, I decided to let her walk even though it was more of a boot. Still, the name Grizabella is a fun meme for me.
